John Thomas Spalding

     John Thomas Spalding was born on 30 March 1843 at St. Mary's County, Maryland. He was the son of Samuel S. Spalding and Eliza E. Abell.

     John Thomas Spalding married Emma Johnson Heard, daughter of James M. Heard and Sarah Ann Spalding, on 24 January 1871.
