     Felix French Spalding was born in 1832 at St. Mary's County, Maryland. He was the son of Samuel S. Spalding and Eliza E. Abell.

     Felix French Spalding married Regina Harriet Simms, daughter of Joseph Milburn Simms and Sarah S. Mattingly, on 25 January 1859 at St. Mary's County, Maryland.1 Felix French Spalding is the head of household on the census of 26 July 1860 at Election District No. 3, St. Mary's County, Maryland.2

     Felix French Spalding died on 18 March 1881.
