     Catherine Scheu married Henry Hans, son of Johann Jacob Hans and Katharina Elizabetha Klein, before 1850.1 As of 1850,her married name was Catherine Catherine Hans.

     On 23 October 1850, Catherine Hans was listed as a household member living with an unknown person in the 1850 census in 11 Owner's Alley, Albany, Albany County, New York.2

     On 27 June 1860, Catherine Hans was listed as a household member living with Henry Hans in the 1860 census in Albany, Albany County, New York. The Hans surname is misspelled as Hanns..3

     Catherine Hans was listed as the wife of Henry Hans on the 1875 state census on 7 June 1875 at 10 Rose Street, Albany, Albany County, New York.4

     Catherine Scheu died of Blood Disease on 5 December 1876 at Albany, Albany County, New York, at age 49. She was buried on 7 December 1876 at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, Albany County, New York; Lot 93 Section 21.
