     Mary Rowe was born in August 1829 at Ireland. She was the daughter of Thomas Rowe and Catharine (?). As of 30 July 1863,her married name was Mary McGovern.

Mary Rowe married Francis McGovern, son of Thomas McGovern and Ann (?), on 30 July 1863 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

     On 1 May 1865, Mary Rowe was listed as a household member living with Francis McGovern in the 1865 state census in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1

     Mary Rowe was listed on 22 June 1870 as a household member living with Francis McGovern on the 1870 census in Lambert Street, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 Mary Rowe was widowed on 4 September 1871 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. She lived between 1871 and 1873 at Lambert Street, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.3,4,5 She lived between 1880 and 1889 at 23 Carson Street, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.6,7,8
