     Katherine Hans died of Nephritis on 18 November 1910 at Albany, Albany County, New York, at age 53. On page two in column four of the November 19, 1910 Albany Evening Journal is found the obituary of Catherine Hans.

Miss Catherine Hans, daughter of
the late Henry and Catherine Hans,
died last night at her home, 45 Allen
street. Miss Hans was a well known
teacher, having been connected with
public school No. 4 in that capacity
for 35 years. She is survived by an
adopted sister, Mrs. A. N. Cutler; a
sister, Mrs. Henry Dorr of New York;
and two nieces, Mrs. William Loeb of
New York and Miss Helen Dorr of this
city. on 19 November 1910 at Albany, Albany County, New York.⁷ She was buried on 21 November 1910 at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, Albany County, New York; Lot 93 Section 21.
